Has anyone tried connecting these speakers directly to the digital audio out on the xps2 dongle that you connect in the rear (yes the s-video one)?

I personally think ipods in general are dumb... that's my humble opinion. I'd rather just implant some flash memory with a small speaker in my ear and have it be bluetooth. That way I can wireless upload song to it.
