Ok I was able to do a repair wtih an XP cd but it wont let me connect to the web even tho I can ping and I show connected. Any idea what SP2 is interfering with? Does this sound like a drivers issue.
Last night i put on SP2 and afterwards my PC wouldnt get online with a wired connection or wireless. I was able to ping yahoo and I had a valid IP but no coonection outside. This morning the PC is rebooting over and over and will not...
What can i turn off or disable to make my 5150 boot faster and load settings quicker. It takes a while to load the tray icons and give me my network icons so that i can get online. I am running XP Pro with 2.8,512mb thanks
damn, that was fast, thanks a lot, it came with Norton for 90-days, what do you guys recommend, is there anyway to make the 90-days last longer such as deleting it from the reg and reinstalling it after 90
Thanks again, when reinstalling some of the Dell programs, can I pick the individual ones I want or do I have to install all of them?
Thanks, just don't want to lose a couple of good programs for now but I want to improve performance and security
My icons in the tray telling whether there is connectivity or not.
Thanks Stu- any suggestions for making sure my wireless icons are put back? Would the drivers CD handle that
So more or less. Once I put Pro on I can use these CD's to get everything that was on it back such as Norton, ISP, etc.....
I just received my 5150 last night and I am about to format and put on a clean copy of XP Pro. Which Dell cd contains the dell photo media program so that I can put that back on?
