I can't belive what I see here! lspci says that my newly installed gigabyte gn-wiag02 is ar5212 based card, not a2414! Seems that Gigabyte is shipping this card now with (much) older chipset than I thought! Or maybe it's just the way...

Can anyone please tell how does the wifi light works for you? Here it's flashing all the time. Pressing fn-f2 doesn't off the light nor it turns off the card, it's still visible to the OS (!). Should it be like that? Gigabyte wiag02.

I noticed that there were questions about differences between AR5006X and 5005GS chipstes. Firstable, you should know that Atheros makes a couple of chipsets for each released series and all of these chipsets differ in features, e.g....
