Can I put 2x 1Gb RAM + 2x 2Gb RAM  to get 6Gb RAM in my computer? I'm not sure about the speeds tbh, but I assume IF it's possible it will run with the lowest RAM speed right?

I'm thinking about buying an  intel i7 3920XM (ES).. It's also QS. How much should I pay for this? I'm thinking 500$, 600$ tops. I think OEM prices are around 1000$-1200$ So around 50% of OEM price seems reasonable to me, but...
