I've got one as my backup scanner. It's pretty nice - very quick, USB Self Powered which makes it real easy to use quickly! Image Quality is great! It's a noisey little thing though....

the 2nd Link Cracks me up... In the Sony Ad, the guy is using an Apple G4 Powerbook.... to Advertise VAIO's.... I'd bet there's a Graphic Designer Position that opened up recently somewhere within the Sony's advertising department.
