I thought the standard batteries could hold upto 4.5 hours of charge? 3 hours seems very low.

You could probably sell your 1.7 for a decent price to people wanting to pin-mod as well. The X50 can only get better. Hopefully when the new models are out you will be able to sell your other laptops and snatch one up.
