I didn't even boot my laptop up with the stock install. I automatically booted it up with the WinXP CD and went to town formating.

I meant to take close up pics. In addition, I use the Canon S400 Digital Elph

The AW ATI drivers that I used were the ones that caused the crash for me. That is why I went to Omega drivers.
