Yes when it's booting it comes on but when it goes to load windows the monitor goes off and stays off, the fn and f4 do nothing, can't change in BIOS and Acer want $99 to tell me the 5 min job! :'(

Yes I push fn and f4 @ start but no switch and it's frustrating

I have a question..... I recently dropped my Acer inspire 4720z and screen is broken, I've hooked up a external monitor but I can't get it to pop on after the boot screen goes off, I've tried safe mode but windows won't load that way so...
