I might be wrong here but it seems to me that usually those people had nightmares with their 8104 who were one of the first buying it when it came out. I'm not sure when exactly the first 8104s came out but I would guess around 1.5...

As a preparation for Oblivion I will reformat my HD and do a clean install of Windows... you guys won't believe how much it helps. And it's time for a clean install anyway, it's been a year since the last one..

The exact same thing happened with my mom's Travelmate 2303 and my girlfriend's Travelmate 4502 after about 6 months... So it's not just you! Something is really screwed up with those notebooks...

One more vote for Neverwinter Nights and Baldur's Gates II! I checked out Fable but didn't like it at all... I guess I don't like Xbox games converted to PC (other example is Bard's Tale...).

I used RegSeeker and CCleaner... no luck. NHC still cannot start. I might delete the Framework folder. That might help.

I recently installed the latest java.... could that mess up NHC? For some reason I have the feeling that when I uninstalled the .NET Framework it left many files behind. Do you think that I should delete this folder after uninstalling...

One related question: Can you install the Catalyst drivers for 200M????
