I would just reformat the xps2. You must have something configured wrong. With your setup, you shouldn't be able to tell the difference to a desktop, unless the desktop is running SLI video cards.

Mr. K6, you can reflash your 7800 bios and enable vidmode 7 in 3d mode. It will give your 7800 more volts, and generate a lot more heat. But you might be able to better handle it now.

Everyone else has the same problem as you. All 7800's are locked. If you want to overclock, flash the bios.
