I honestly wish ATI would come out with something that was just mind blowing for 500-600 that pawns the 8800 Ultra, like I said i've always wanted to try ATI brand, but ever since the ti-4600 and 9800 Pro, they haven't offered anything...

Ehhh, it did alright on that review...The 8800GT XXX edition did very well, but who knows how much that puppy is going for.

yea, 3870 looks like a nice card...But once the new GTS and 9000 series are release ATI will be pushed back in the dark ages unfortunetly. I've always wanted to try ATI, but thye've never had anything with enough current power.

yea, you really shoulda just plugged it into a power switch to begin with before going through all this hassle...When you cut corners, this is what you can expect.

check the CPU power plug, I know I forgot to plug that in and you won't get a beep or nothing...Pictures would surely help on these fix it posts....Also 299 woulda bought you a new machine LOL. Also how do you know the motherboard was...

Says the 9 Series won't be out till February, so if you are building a rig now, i'd get the GTS second week of december, and not get anything now.

Are you positive everything is plugged in, CPU power plug, Cpu Fan, CMOS jumper set to default settings and so on? Any beeps, does it boot to bios screen?
