You can probably use ATI Tool to overclock the mem and clock frequencies. I use it for my 9550 and works pretty well on finding the most stable frequencies.
Can anyone confirm any success in installing 1.2.2.2? Mine will only stick with 1.2.2.0. I don't mind it at 2.2GHz all the time on AC, as long as it goes to 800MHz on battery. I just want to try 1.2.2.2.
