Optical drives contains moving parts, the discs are spinning at a very high rate so it ALWAYS produce some kind of vibration... just at different amplitudes.
*sigh* My battery won't charge past 99%, I actually noticed it this morning as the charging light was still on. Oh well, count me in then. Had the laptop for 3.5 months.

Try: http://typera.tk The other test mentioned is too easy and doesn't reflect reality. I can do easily over 120 WPM on the test you mentioned, however... 100 is the most i can get with typera... which is more realistic.
