I ran a search and didn't come up with any real data. Has anyone with 2GB ever run an fps test on say... Doom3, then yank out a stick and repeat the test? If not, could ya?

Heh. I have a single dead pixel on my 15.4" WUXGA, but it's exactly on the edge of the screen, and since its WUXGA its teeny tiny. I have to stare at it for a few seconds before I can even see it. I WANT A NEW LCD!!! j/k

End of the road. Best we can hope for is a dramatic price drop on the EE CPU's. It's also possible that the system will support 4GB RAM sometime in the future, but even if that were available today, it would just slow you down.

I believe the 400MHz PC3200 is the fastest you can run. It's matched to your CPU (an even multiple) already. Based on your sig, your system is pretty hooked up, just as it is.

$200 seems reasonable to me for this type of service. Another data point in the Sager column.

You can always order an identical PCT Sager and see who gets there first...

Can you buy chassis parts from AW? I like the looks of their covers, but would never buy an expensive product from them.

As others have pointed out, that's a clevo clone (and a nice one too). Why not buy from our hosts, PCT? I buy from them whenever I can get around the "Dell exclusive" deal we have.
