I have a quick question, slightly off topic. Whay is the difference between letting Windows manage my wireless connection and letting Intel Pro Wireless manage my connection?

I also use maya and 3DSMax on my XPS, and they run perfectly. I have a 2ghz Pentium M, 512 ram/60gh HD.
