Yup tried one stick and it was fine. Tried the other and the bios said there was a problem and would only let me use 64mb of ram. That's the culprit! Thanks guys - wonder if I can talk them into sending me 1 gig stick...

Tests 1-4 are failing. It's still on test 4 and been going for 30 minutes and counting. Tried same test in friends XPS 2 (we ordered them together) and their's is fine. Will try and find out which stick is dead.
