Vista is nice and I think a worthy successor to XP(MS's best OS BY FAR.) I say the 60% thing is complete crap. That's why Vista was delayed from 2004 to 2006 in the first place. Read some stories on the dev process, it is interesting...

I have tried it. It wont fit. But the connectors are in the same place. I think if you were comfortable with machine tools (removing metal standoffs) then it would work. I almost tried it, but the 1705 wasn't mine.

There is no comparison visually between Vista and XP...Vista blows it away in every respect. It also just looks more "crisp."

The game detection is crap. For my home system it recommended ultra high at 1024. I am runiing at 1600x1200 without a stutter.

Looks awesome.

I would not go with the 6000 if you want to do any FPS gaming.
