I experienced the same thing on my 2500M with all Dell and non-Dell drivers except the original ones, 84.29 (which will probably not work with 3500M anyway). I've tracked the problem down to PowerMizer. Switch it off, and flickering goes...
If you liked Far Cry you'll probably enjoy STALKER. Not as good as Far Cry (and significantly shorter), but still a very good game.
Hard to beleive it's still an excellent game after so much time in developement 2nissanztt90: Ever seen a perfect games? or a perfect piece of software in general?

Yes, it definitely could be the game. But I haven't had any noticeable issues with my FX2500M @ stock clocks (1024x768/full dynamic lights/everything on max sans grass shadows). And your system should be actually faster than mine...
Could it be your overclock? STALKER with dynamic lighting extremely stresses video hardware.
