I have had problems trying to calibrate my 9300 display too. The brighter colors tend to looked washed. I'm not happy with this, but I've lived with it so far. If you or anyone else come up with a solution, please post it.
Huh? Your 6800 Go resets the manual overclock when you play a game???
I'm not seeing that. I have my GPU up'd to 365. When I run a game and alt-tab out to check the settings, it is still 365.
Are you running with the Nvidia...
1.8GHz PM successfully pin mod'ed to 2.4GHz. The voltage was pin mod'ed from the default 1.346 to 1.468.
I've run CPU Burn-In for hours with no errors and a max temp of 69c. Typical usage (games, DVDs, etc) usually runs just over 50c.
Here are my essential 9300 specs:

As for over-volting the 6800 Go, I haven't come across any info yet.
Woah! I just re-read your reply, Lucid. I mis-read it the first time.
You were telling me to take the voltage from my software setting, treat it as a VID pin-out, and merge it with my hardware VID pin-out with the grounded pin-outs...
Thanks for the feedback, Lucid.
When running CPU Burn-In, the CPU temp is at about 80c. That's by far the highest temp I can generate. However, the processor still remains stable and doesn't trottle.
As for using software to...
I recently replaced the processor in my 9300 with a 1.8GHz 400MHz Dothan. I promptly did the 533MHz pin-out trick, and after playing with volt mods, the processor is now stable at 2.4GHz.
However, to make it stable, I had to...
