i wish there were more speeds... slow is still too loud and keeps my laptop at like..33 degrees c. i just need it moving a little air to blow the heat out. maybe ill rig up a fan controller.....

yes it will.. my 128mb x300 plays doom3 fine, as well as hl2. but right now im hooked on guildwars... hah

i run mine 360/275 during games (i could go much higher, i figure, but i dont want to risk it) and stock for none gaming times. ati tray tools can switch when you are using it for games... yay!

yes, i would like to know about this also. right now i have a 256 stick of 400mhz and 1 533... so they run at 400 so im kinda in the same boat as to if i should bump the 400mhz one up to a 512 533

during games i have my x300 overclocked to 360/275; i always have the fan on slow, and it stays around 40-42 celcius. its undervolted to .94.... i love this laptop so far, and its worked great on everything from aa, to doom3, to guild...
