Sorry, I am talking about the built in speakers. They are loud when used with Disc Jockey function and laptop closed, but not when laptop is on. I have checked all volume levels and all are maxed.

Why is the laptop volume so low. When I use the Disc Jockey in the front of my 8890 the speakers rock! But with the system on and from inside XP Pro I get very low sound. Any thoughts??
