I've got a D/View, and it's definitely got its uses. As for a minor difference in size.. hrmm.. if it is that minor, it might work, as the brace on the front of the D/View is on a slider and designed to adjust.

why flame him? seems like a valid question? (if I spent $1k to $4k on a notebook, and had occasion... for whatever reason to mix power supplies, I would want to know this too).
According to the posting that I cite in my original post the ATI FireMV 2200 will work in the D/Dock's PCI slot, not sure about the Radeon. As for the Matrox solution. That's not really an ideal solution, as its resolution is limited.
