Ronin, I'm convinced as well that these lappys are definately lannable, especially mine with my configuration. Granted not like a M1710 where the settings can be cranked way high, but I think on low it can handle most games

Well, called Dell today and I can upgrade to complete care at the tune of 169 dollars for 3 years. Thats bull, you all have been able to upgrade for 120, and I will too dammit. Mind you I have the three year onsite warranty already. ...

My D820 has one and only one fan, but it is rather large and does its job well.

It's exactly like Mom's D505 as far as connections and siize of things go. All it has different is the black casing to tie into the direction the rest of the latitudes are going, and the cpus.

The few reasons I chose the D820 are as follows: 1-512 Nvidia card 2-15.4 inch screen 3-stereo speakers(D620 has one mono speaker iirc)
