Thw D820 has the ram set up the same way, which i thought was a bit odd considering it's on a bigger chassis than the D620.

My D820 uses drivers for the Sigmatel STAC92XX. Perhaps the audigy software would work on it... Are there any real benefits, considereing its still the same physical hardware?
When you do crack it open and you look for the wwan antennas, look around the GPU(if you got the 110/120m a) and confirm or disprove whether its soldered to the mobo. The service manual shows no way or removing the GPU, leading me to...
I ordered my Dell by calling in, and got around 250 knocked off of the discounted online price. Just call, and tell the rep what you CAN pay, and theyll do their best to meet you there.
Will definately post pics soon. I thought the card was removeable. I've not cracked it open yet, but look here at the service manual for the card, it appears indeed soldered to the mobo, thats a bummer for those hoping to upgrade ...
yeah no prob. I don't recall how much it is to buy it, but it's worth the money for it imo.
