Be sure to buy a powerfull PSU. Even my FX5800 eats up a lot of resurces and my 350 W (true it was a chinese noname) couldn't handle 2 HDD's, DVD-ROM, DVD-RW and the FX5800, and had to buy a 400W one.

You can put an FX 6200/6600/6800 in it or an ATI one, 1 or 2 GB RAM and my opinion is that you wil play most of the games. Ok you may not play Oblivion in full graphics, but yet again we wnd up at the problem what you want to play on it.

Laptops have a well known problem when it comes to gaming. Check out game forums and you will see how many people have problems with games even if they have a stronger notebook then some of the desktop gamers.
