you're stuck changing it everytime. it's only going to remember to change it with your integrated sound. at least that's what I believe is going to happen.

the harddrive will have the same warranty as the system. meaning if you're out of warranty and your HD dies, the manufacturer wont replace it if you got it from dell. you'll have to buy a new one either from somewhere else or from dell....
Give them a few days, try bugging them every 3 days or so, and make sure to prod them into giving you a daily update, instead of you having to call in. If you were in Canada i know it could happen, i'm unsure about things because...
if you have a friend with a dell 90 watt adapter you can plug it in too and see if it recognizes it. if it cant recognize the other ac adapter then mobo more then likely is the cause.
An exchange isn't a NBD replacement, they have to get one dept. to approve the replacement configuration, then another to approve the replacement, and then it has to be built and shipped out. if you get yours within 14 business days...
