I thought I read somewhere that you would be able to use a usb memory stick as ram with vista?

The Hidden partition is basicly the disks Dell sent ya with a bunch or bloat ware on them... Doing a clean install and getting rid of the 2 dell partitions will in no way viode your warrenty..

All dell laptops come with 3 partitions....that 2.7gb is your OS "disc".
