I've got a 14.1 T43 (2687D3U) with the INTEL ABG card. It works fine for me. I did hear people say the IBM one is better though.

try posting on forum.thinkpads.com or notebookreview.com --> click on discussion. don't know about refurb personally, also that price is way too high. check the IBM website they're having sales... altho there are no more IBM...
