I actually like the new iMovie. Quick and easy to make videos. If I want something more I can fire up Finalcut Pro but for quick vids to share of projects iMovie is great for last minute media presentations.
I have experience with Crucial in my Dell machines and have had no problems but just wanted to ask the community for opinions with Macs

On the note of pre-installed software... When I was with Windows machines I always recommend reformating just so all that preinstalled junk isn't there. Dell/Gateway are bad for that.
