Hey, call me stupid, but it seems odd to me that going from 1 GB to 2 GB of RAM in the XPS costs another $1000 Canadian. I know that I can get RAM elsewhere, but I was wondering if this information is even right?
I'm going to order my XPS2 tonight, but I want to know if anyone has a straight-up answer to this question (I have looked and looked):
How does the PM 2.13 Ghz compare with P4s? I don't like the idea of trying to upgrade a processor in a couple of years, and I assume that the PM will last me through with good performance on the games on tomorrow?
Any help appreciated.
Hey, I'm planning on ordering an XPS2 tonight, but my only unresolved thought concerns the upgradeability of the XPS2. If I'm going to invest 2-3 grand into a notebook, I want to make sure that it will last for a while. So: is the XPS 2 easy to upgrade? Processors, Vid Card, HD, RAM?
Hi, I'm planning on ordering an XPS Gen2 this week, but I live in Canada. I will therefore be ordering from dell.ca, and was wondering if anyone here has had experience with Canadian shipping times....it would be very cool to have before next weekend, does anyone think that if I ordered tomorrow it would be here (in Manitoba) by the end of the week?
