I was under the impression that SATA did away with jumpers... And the drive does not appear at the loading bios screen for the SATA controller...
I have recently bought another 60 GB SATA drive which is identical to the one that came in my machine... but it fails to recognize it... I am not running in raid mode and I have already used both the origional and and RMA sata cable......
