I'll bet dollars to dohnuts (mmmmm...dohnuts) that it wasn't a dvd they were using, but a cd with the DJ feature and the system shut down. Just a guess though.

jswriter, where did you get the specs for the 16"? Nobody else has been able to get them, from what I gather. If the response is 50ms, I would think it would be crapola for gaming and movies, but I haven't heard any bad reviews...

aussie, are those the actual specs for the 16" UXGA screen in the 8890? I've been searching all over for them to no avail. It's on my extremely short list of contenders, along with the 8790 if I can get the WUXGA screen in short order.
