I'm considering dual booting with Linux so I can learn it a bit on my m1710. I've heard that Ubuntu is the easiest to get around in. I have a 5.1 disk, is it worth getting the 6.06?

I've had both the SEC3155 and the LPL00000, and there really isn't a big difference. The sad part is that they both have dark spots in the corners; but other than that they were both fine.
It will only go up to 2.0ghz if you run a program that needs the extra power. Or you could set the power to "performance" and it will automatically clock up.
