A 7600 is worse than the x1800.
Neither one of the 87 series drivers from lv2g are working either. Can anybody tell me the newest driver that has been reported to work properly?

It appears to be a problem with the 90 series drivers. I have tried all of the 90 series from lv2g, omega, and the Xtreme G drivers. So far the Dell one is the only one that the LCD turns off with. I'll try going back to the older ones...
Well, this is definitely 100% an issue directly related to the drivers. I've used the laptopvideo2go drivers for a while; and as soon as I switched to the Dell drivers from their website the LCD turned off as it should. I also tried the...

There isn't a USB dock that I know of the allows you to use DVI at a high enough resolution. If I were you, I'd plug in four of your things into the 2007, then just plug in the USB from that and the DVI cable.,
