just an update: i replied to their first email insisting i get the CD's for the purposes of being able to install a fresh copy of windows w/o the bloatware, and also being able to get rid of the huge PC restore partition. a different guy...

no they do not stack... there are separate Home and EPP coupons.

if anyone's interested i'm selling mine on ebay. i agree with picard, the sound was MUCH better on my 700m than the integrated audio. unfortunately, i just upgraded to a new E1405 which doesn't have a PCMCIA slot link

i've had a 700m for a year now and i don't find the 12.1" WXGA (1280x800) to be too bad at all, so the 14.1" WXGA+ should be fine...
