Hynix brand RAM is a common OEM of Toshiba's memory. They don't sell direct to the retail market AFAIK even though the company owns a huge chunk of the memory market--they're the world's second largest memory supplier.
Update: asked around some more and it turns out the new inverter part #G71C00011221 supersedes the older and now discontinued inverter part #G71C00011121. So IOW it's a direct replacement. w00t!
Update: got a wholesome deal on a brand spanking new T60 equipped with the 15.4" LCD WSXGA+ display and the matte finish and it rocks at 1680x1050 resolution with no issues at all.
AFAIK the A135-S2386 has 128 MB reserved for integrated video--that's why one can't have all 2 GB to play with.
