Wait. How the heck did you get a 3DMark05 score of 5174 ??? Did you use different drivers or overclock your Radeon ?

But in general, i would say that a high end laptop like this needs to have a better quality screen.

I did not like the brightness and viewing angle of the screen either. I went to the ATI Catalyst Control Panel and increased the gamma from 1.05 to 1.2. Give that a try.
