Has anybody used silver plates to better cool their video cards? if so, how are your results?

my dont overheat even when i play games such as half life 2 and doom 3 for several hours when overclocked to 355/255.

i noticed the same problem with my 8600s battery. when the battery reached a point where it had 30 percent charge left, that meant that it only had about 5 minutes of battery life left before it would forcefully shut down; regardless...

has ne1 one tried using silver plates, since silver is a better conductor of heat? if so where could i get some?
