i dont think the celerons have speed steping if you need battery time look at the petium m aka centrino i pulling a bit over 6hrs 45min on mine

compaq x1000 9200 32mb 1.7m 512 ram 3dmark01se=7300 oced the vid card a bit

the 9200 is just a clocked vers of the 9000 i have the 32mb 9200 and i can play all the games i throw at it halo,bf1942,ut2k3,unreal2, its no 9600 but for the cost i realy like my x1000 and 6hrs of battery time to boot

some bencheys and a user review would be cool. i was looking to get the 8600 among others thanks
