Just a thought, but if you still get BSOD and then auto reboots..goto properties of My Computer, Advanced tab, Settings for Startup and Recovery. Uncheck the automatically restart checkbox. This will let you actually read the BSOD before...
Thats a hard choice...depends what style of gaming u like better. BF is a bit slower of a game, but a sweet game. UT is great too, diff gameplay modes and new vehicle ability. I personally would go BFV, but I also have ut2004 on order.
It still shouldnt get that hot...I just got done with about 6 hours of Battlefield and it was quite warm but NOT hot at all. If it gets that hot, Id suggest getting a replacement gpu or whatever part is getting hot.
Thx jeremyx...ill try that.

Ok, I went home for the weekend and had to use dailup *shudder*.... The first time, it connected fine, I opened trillian which worked for a few seconds before the whole system locked. I rebooted and tried again, locked on dialup...**5...
*bump*
lol, I was thinking more along the lines of petroleum jelly...but whatever works lol. Glad to help.
Ive been experiencing problems when changing networks or attempting to connect to one. So far, these have been the only times the lappy has totally frozen on me. Issue 1) Guaranteed lockup when I swithc from wireless to wired network...
