AlienGreen, I would send it back and request a replacement asap. Shouldnt cost you anything. Sometimes you just get lemons.

I wonder why a bios flash would kill the motherboard? That just doesnt sound right.....not that I have much experience with it.

ahhhhh ok, gotcha now. Its curious that WLAN shows like 95% signal strength but the network connection system icon says its low or very low.

Power options were all off already...but didnt see anything relating to lan/wlan or minipci or anything options...
