When I talked with Sager support...they said their machines go out with the latest drivers available up to a point. Basically, if the driver has been released at least 2 weeks, and you order a machine, you should get the updated...

I believe the service pack will overwrite your drivers...and you will have to re-do. I am not sure about registry fragments afterwards.
I went with PCTorque because of their willingness not to play games. Straight questions deserves straight answers...and I have always got this from them. I appreciate the fact that if someones questions their actions on this...
