The Z70va has a great build quality. It's what I'm recommending for my brother right now. I'd probably have bought one if they were out in June when I got my Z71V
I had the same great experience with Canadasys. No CC option. I opted to deposit funds directly in their account and that worked out great.

Welp, after a few days of looking like there was a problem, my laptop went back to working the way it did when I first got it. Battery appears to be 100%.
Frankly for Linux I'd go with the Z71V - at least if you need the proprietary 3D drivers for gaming under Linux. I've had terrible luck with ATI Linux drivers in the past.
I'm happy with my decision. I prefer the 6600go over the X700 due to nvidia's better support for linux drivers - ATI is making an effort, howeve they really aren't where I need them to be yet.
