Ok just want to know if others have experienced this problem. After start up I am still seeing 30 - 50 % load on cpu. When I start the task manager it is AlienFusion.exe eating up cpu time. Once I end the process the cpu load to nil. Now...

Not really. Upgraded last week. Seems faster to me. Had to reset the graphics back to discrete instead of hybrid. Other than than a few other quirks it is fine.

Ok it's been 10 days and still in production...so when can I realistically expect this thing to ship? It still says estimated delivery 10/2.

My 7700 ran for 4 yrs without a hitch and I let my wife use it for 2 weeks and she burned up the video card ... lol. I do however miss the Alienware phase game. This just "in production" thing sucks.
