mine idles at 45C ( no cooling pad )... the highest i got was 83C playing nfsmw and toca 3.. other than that i usually get 75c-78c while gaming... everything is stock.. but i usually open up my xps once a month to swab the fans

first of all, your'e on the wrong forum. (17's).. but doesn't really matter coz' we're all here to help anyway, you might want to use fangui to get a clear idea on your processor's speed... also you might want to change your power...

well basically i'm upgrading my hd on my m170.. problem is i was given a choice between a hitachi or seagate.... both offer 100gb and spins at 7200rpm... coming from a 7k60, anyone here knows how seagate fairs up against hitachi......

well.. today officially my m170 is a year old (happy b-day ).. the longest i've kept a laptop prior to upgrading.. performance wise, i just bought the game warhammer dark crusade and i'm still blown away by the performance of this...
