No the system guard warranty does not cover spillage -- it covers practically anything else though. Perhaps if a bad spill occurred one could then set your laptop on fire? Seriously though people need to learn to keep drinks away...
You must be really bored you will get only an almost unnoticeable performance gain. Upgrading the hard drive makes a lot more sense.

My fn keys work think the only things that don't work (from what I remember) are some weird push down buttons probably specific to the p25 ... You lost me on the outsourcing quote ... the only reason companies outsource is lower cost...
