Yeah, I'm not a big gamer, so I'd rather pay $69 to go from 64MB to 128MB than $300+ to go from 64 to 256 or $200 to go from 128 to 256. Just not a priority for me, I'll be using this system primarily for law school.
I have 2nd business day shipping, and it says that it shipped out this morning, but my tracking # doesn't work yet, and unfortunately it says that my expected delivery date is June 6th. I don't want to wait until Monday :-(

So you took out the "default" sound card that COULD have been upgraded when you made the purchase and put in a superior SoundBlaster card?
Does this make a difference in the sound coming out of the speakers on the laptop, or is upgrading the Sound Card as you did more of a function for hooking the laptop up to external speakers or some other reason?
Someone stated that Dell doesn't post your item as "Shipped" on their site until your system is at least in Nashville. Did you guys get tracking numbers that worked prior to it simply saying "Patrick, NV" or did your tracking number ever just say "Nashville, TN."
In fact, does your tracking number say "Nashville, TN," at all?
I keep trying to track mine and it always says "unable to track" on UPS.com.

Sorry, I mean I didn't get the Soundblaster upgrade. I haven't gotten my system, but on all the CNET / PCMAG / etc... reviews they all said the 9300 had superior sound. But this could have been because they were testing a machine with the best Soundblaster installed.

How difficult is installing a sound card into a laptop? I didn't get a soundcard--will getting a nice soundcard improve the sound that comes out of the laptop speakers and/or out of headphones, or is the...
Are you an "insider"? :P If so, I'm about 300 miles North of Nashville, so perhaps I'll get it today. That'd be sweet. Our UPS man comes around 4pm.
How do you know that it doesn't say shipped until it leaves Nashville?
