I always think it is worth waiting at least six months after the launch of new technology before buying so any teething problems can be sorted out. By then my laptop will be at least 1 year old by which time I maybe looking to upgrade....

The clock speeds in my W3J are 446mhz core and 446mhz memory. 3Dmark 05 4100 - 4200 - 3Dmark 06 2100 - 2200 using Radeon Mobility driver 6.5 and no overclocking. Switching to performance settings in CCC gets 4230 in 3Dmark 05.
You need to remove two screws from underneath the laptop marked >k after that it should just pop off from the tabs. Be careful when removing it as there is a ribbon connection underneath.
