You can upgrade it yourself probably. With my old laptop, I got one of those USB2/Firewire notebook HD cases and mirrored the current HD to it, then just swapped the two.

It was about 45 days after I bought it that a clump of dimly lit pixels appeared. But I can't complain - it was shipped with a perfect LCD as advertised, it was just my bad luck that some developed after hours of use.

I bought the dead pixel policy and the LCD was perfect - for about 45 days. Then it was just $200 down the drain. :/

My 9880's LED clock is about 30 seconds behind what Windows says...

I use a 300 watt inverter for my 9880 - according to my calculations, my 9880 draws almost exactly 300 watts. Works great so far. TM
