Biggest you can get is the 250GB WD Scorpio. It's also arguably the fastest drive available for ATA/100-equipped laptops due to the areal density alone.
If you're an access time worshipper, you're limited to 120GB. =/
I'm skeptical about the "mini-compressor."
Mechanized air conditioning has existed for 105 years now and they still haven't perfected the design for the LARGE units.

That mini-compressor is pretty damned nice from a technological perspective - it might make a very interesting...
Might have to pick this up (eventually). I'm going to be using my XPS2 for quite some time, and it's obvious they're never going to release a bigger 7200rpm HD for ATA/100.

Dell is putting this in simply because it's something else they can charge extra for. I hope it doesn't sell and PhysX dies because of it.
Someone needs to do a study of the chip and figure out it's nothing but a hunk of silicon...
